About Us

INSPIRATION


The inspiration of this project has come from the research we conducted “Innovative methods of teaching English in Rwanda: a case of Universities and the Integrated Polytechnic Regional Colleges (IPRC) in the Southern Province.”

This study explores creative and intriguing approaches for teaching English based on contextual factors that are believed to affect second language acquisition (SLA). There may be a variety between conventional and modern teaching approaches. When it comes to teaching English as a second language, everyone has their own reflections. Yet, this study illustrates how teachers might increase the effectiveness of instruction by combining these two styles.

As result from observation showed, researcher found that the students were not enthusiastic about the lesson. Making the learners feel enthusiastic during the learning process is not easy and the problem is related to teaching methodology. Whatever English teaching method, teachers must be more innovative in the teaching-learning process in order to ensure that students learn effectively.

Furthermore, educational facilities and teachers who are unfamiliar with technology provide formidable hurdles, thus regardless of the difficulties they may be facing, and teachers should adopt the use of effective teaching tactics to help students comprehend and speaking English effortlessly.



VISION


-Our students will learn new skills and obtain new knowledge in a comfortable classroom environment where they can express themselves without fear in English.
-Our students will be inspired by the love of learning English. They will be trained to be active, constructive, and goal-oriented learners.
-Other English teachers will be inspired by our passion to adopt a constructivist approach to learning so that their classroom too will be an active, fun-filled, and creative environment where every student has a chance to excel in his or her own unique way promoting effective communication in English.


MISSION


-To promote a learning environment that enables learners to communicate effectively.
-To encourage student-centered learning by allowing students to construct knowledge through their own investigations thanks to an innovative approach.
-To promote active engagement and meaningful dialogues by English native speakers to guide learners whenever necessary.

OBJECTIVES IN TEACHING


To us, teaching is an art. Teaching and learning are facets of creative and artistic performance. Each teacher has his or her own idea about how to facilitate learning. As a language learner, we need to keep our students updated with innovative teaching-learning methods using technology to introduce them to the real world of English. Our task is to enable our students to have the necessary skills and knowledge so that they can make informed decisions and take the necessary action in real-life situations. Moreover, we want our students to share our enthusiasm for learning so that new skills and knowledge can be put to good use to improve the community. We are here to help our students communicate in English effectively. Essentially, we provide our students with opportunities to acquire new language skills like effective listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills to communicate effectively in their everyday lives. Therefore, we believe that learning is a process in which our students must be actively engaged during English class. They will be given the opportunity to express themselves positively, fearlessly, and cooperatively so that a free exchange of ideas can take place and we must make an assessment to check If they have achieved their success.
